Now I know my ABC's

We are so proud of how much Raeann is learning. Here she is singing her ABC's! The singing came after the knowledge of the letters, actually. I swore I would not teach her the song until she actually knew what she was singing about, so she could recognize them and name them all several months before this! Yes, I'm bragging like a proud mother should!

Not a clue

I have no idea how to even start this post since its been so long since I've done a post! I hope all of you have been checking facebook as there is so much more on there! We are nearing the end of our summer. We went to MI for two and half weeks and enjoyed celebrating with Mike's brother in his wedding. Other than that, we've had a beautiful summer fun of playgrounds and pools. It is so nice to have a child who is active and wants to get out. Despite not having done much as far as sight seeing and hikes go, I can't complain. My child has learned to use her manners on the playground with other children, saying "your turn" and "go, boy!" She's learned how to go up an assortment of ladders and down large slides by herself. She's experienced going down a two story water slide with her Dada (many many times) and loved it so much she continues to talk about it days after. We've even come quite far with the potty training! So here's some pictures of the highlights, though if you are my friend on facebook you've probably already seen them...

Check Facebook instead

I've found that I am unable to keep up this blog and facebook, along with all the other things I have added to my plate being a full time teacher and mother. I am sorry to all those who follow us here, but if you are my friend on facebook you will get many more updates and get to see many more pictures and videos. So check there first!

Happy Birthday Raeann!

I got creative and made fish cupcakes for Raeann's birthday. They turned out pretty cute, and she loved them!
We got out some bubbles at the start of her "party." She loves playing with bubbles and it was much easier than an organized game.
Thanking Mason for the present with a hug.
Thanking Miss Christi with a hug, Such a sweetheart my little girl is!

Aunt Susan and Uncle Micah got her this cool monster bowling set!

And the big present - a tricycle that can be steered from the back (I love that part!)

CHEESE!

I love that Raeann loves to sit in my grandmother's childhood rocking chair!
cheese!

Break out the bikes!

We took our first family bike ride this year! Mike got to experience pulling the trek, which I was so thankful for, because boy am I out of shape!

I think Raeann enjoyed being carted around. What a princess!

Just a dusting

We got a small dusting of snow on top of the snow that had piled up and frozen, so after church we took Raeann to try the sled for the first time. The sidewalk was the smoothest place to pull it.

Snow fun

Raeann loves to be outside - the only downfall is that it takes me the same amount of time to get her dressed to go outside as she spends outside.

but it's always worth it to see that smile!

Christmas in MI

Raeann's first flight went fairly smooth!
opening presents...
and more presents...
and we were so lucky to have grandmas and grandpas that would take Raeann outside and give her lots of new adventures!
